Vexor fit for level 3 missions

Monitor this thread via RSS [? Pages: [1] :: one page. Posted - Need a smidge more cap or effiency for the 4th railgun.

Have a catalyst set up as a dedicated salvager boy, is that nice. My thought was that it would be better to do lvl 3 missions, even if its slow, than to contine to grind the slow isk of 2s. If it works really well, might be nice to skip right to BS, but I might be fantasizing about that so am asking for some input from you vets out there. Celeste Darklighter. Lvl 3s in a vexor is going to hurt. With that setup you don't want to run into rainbow damage, so I'd swap out the EANM for either a third hardener or a dc if it fits - can't be arsed to find out.

You might want to try a cap injector fit - though that's going to be a pain too. If you got acess to a quiet lowsec system my guess is that you will make more money rafting in a vexor than doing lvl3s in a vexor. You might make more money on lvl2s too. Celia Therone. Stuff like level 3 blockade you really need a better tank for imho and finding out which are which can be pretty expensive. Back when I was doing it pre medium rigs I had to take a break and train some skills before I could handle the harder level 3s in a vexor.

You really need a cruiser size AB imho. There are times when speed to get range is the only thing that keeps you alive.

I'd imagine that you're going to have cap issues. Iirc the vexor struggled to perma run the cruiser sized AB and MAR together without having to run two hardeners at the same time. Energized plating may be more useful. In certain missions a second drone link augmentor can be quite handy. Lets your drones continue to auto-aggro stuff outside your sensor range. If you want to run level 3s in a vexor do it for the challenge not the isk return, it's not really the right tool for the job.

I have a 10mn afterburner 1 that fits into the build and puts me just overcap for that last gun. Thanks for the input you two, sounds like I need to train up for that battlecruiser after all.

My Postman. Go for T2 Hardeners asap. You need to buy a ship before you can have it blown up! So how do we make ISK you ask?

Tried some things, but you don't really know how to make some space money? Well, this is a problem we have all ran into when we were new. Ratting for instance is a good source of income, but when you have no idea how to do it, where do you start? What ship do you fly? How do you pay for it?! Enter Dojo! No more wondering what will or will not work, no more wondering how to get the ship to the right spot.

We have done it all for you!! These badboys can easily do low level anoms, belts and all sorts of madness to make you stone cold cash-ISK. With decent drone skills you can make up to 10 million every 20 minutes in this little ship! As you can see, the skills needed to fly these beasts can be trained in only a week and a half. And remember — every point of SP that goes into this ship helps in skilling towards other ratting ships to make even more money! On top of that, with every rat you kill, BNI also gets richer, which helps us with [insert random propaganda here].

This is why we want YOU to fly these things! Click on either of the skillplans below to expand them. The skillplan can be copied directly into your skill queue. You just need to be careful with how much you use your armor repairer.

Remember that you can always interrupt your ratting to return to station, repair, and then come back. Don't forget to bookmark before warping away! As soon as you've trained the entire skillplan you can get one. You get one - and only one - for free. You need to be able to run the afterburner full time, or the ship will blow up.

When we hand the ship to you, we will explain to you how to use it and how not to lose it. Especially the not losing part seems to be hard for a lot of people. Nullsec is a dangerous place, the fact that you don't want to fight while ratting doesn't change that.

If the Dojo has enough spare ones lying around, you can buy another one for Jita price from us. As stated, handing out every Vexor Newbro Edition comes with a mini-masterclass on how to use them. This includes how to belt-rat, how to anom-rat, and most importantly, how not to lose the thing to angry Russians. Handy Dandy Video Guide Pt 1. Handy Dandy Video Guide Pt 2. Handy Dandy Video Guide Pt 3. Make sure to set your drones for aggressive and for focus fire first. Picture on how that's done:.

Then warp to an anom 70km or a belt Before the rats redbox you redbox is spacetalk for shootdeploy your drones. Next you need to get speed - remember, the Vexor is speed tanked first, and armor tanked second. Remember, no speed means your ship will go boom, I'm not even kidding. We are proud with the immediate release of EVE Workbench 1.

Pyfa is a highly capable and well-maintained cross-platform open source Python fitting tool. EFT is a maintained fitting tool available as a Windows binary. As mentioned above, we use the EFT fitting format for text representation of fittings.

Failing that:. Your corp or alliance should have a list of fits for fleet PvP, at least. This is also often a good place to ask for fitting help. EvE University has suggested fits for most ships in the game. While they are often old and not occasionally sub-par, they are at least a good starting point. Their Fleet Doctrine fits are also available. Please do ask here for help with these, and we'll hopefully be able to add new fits soon.

The low-skills. Let us know how we can help. I don't mind the build as long as it's drone boat. Rough guide with many many exceptions: Shield is better for pve because you can use all the lowslots for damage whilst an armour tank will be sacrificing that dps for the tank modules. I had always taken advantage of the Vexors natural armor advantage. We are proud with the immediate release of EVE Workbench 1. I don't think an Assault Frig is the right move given he is less than 2 months old, it takes the best part of a month just to get the bare requirements to fly one.

I think you would be better off training for T1 sentry drones and perhaps a mirco jump drive or just stick with a micro warp drive. Either way should trivialise level 3 missions.

Esme Moya Mencken. I run L3 missions in a Vexor Navy Issue, which I'd much recommend over a standard Vexor because of the extra low slot. It's essentially a baby Ishtar, as you're able to field five sentries and receive bonuses to tracking speed.

In fact, I'd prioritize training up sentry drones over advancing in ship classes.Refer to your best judgement or the FC instructions on jamming targets. The priority displayed here is meant only as a basic guideline for prioritizing targets on a theoretical level, actual field priority may differ depending on the circumstances.

The Vexor is a strong combat ship that is also geared to operate in a variety of other roles. The Vexor is especially useful for surveying in potentially hostile sectors as it can stay on duty for a very long time before having to return to base. Furthermore, it is well capable of defending itself against even concentrated attacks. The Vexor is a dedicated drone boat. It has 75mb of drone bandwidth, allowing it to field a mixed flight of medium and heavy drones at a time, and has the drone bay to carry a few replacements or an additional flight of light drones.

This gives the Vexor great flexibility for long roams, where it can carry a full flight of medium and light damage drones, as well as a flight of light repair or EWAR drones to deploy as the situation dictates. With 4 mids and 5 lows Vexors are most often armor tanked. The Vexor is also a great ship to use for salvaging missions as they are completed. By using 2 Salvagers, a Small Tractor Beam, a Drone Link Augmentor and a single Hybrid Turret to draw aggro in the high slots a moderately drone-skilled capsuleer can securely complete level 2 missions while salvaging.

Among t1 cruisers the Vexor is a little more skill demanding than the Thorax. In particular you should not get a Vexor unless you have at least Drones 4 and should make getting Drones 5 a high priority.

The Brave Dojo Vexor Newbro Edition

You should not neglect your Gunnery either. Combining both can make the Vexor have crazy amounts of dps for a ship its size. To get the maximum potential out of the Vexor you need to do the exact opposite. Think of yourself as a sixth drone - that charges into the enemy alongside your five other drones and melts them with blasters.

It takes a bit of time, due to the drone support skills and fitting skills that's required beforehand, but you could have a Vexor that will make its presence felt every time it steps onto the battlefield. Even with Meta 4 guns, pre-T2 gunnery, mid-range drone skills and T1 drones, you could be pumping out over dps in a Shield Vexor. Expect to do a lot of damage, but not to stay on field very long once you are primaried. The armor Vexor is a mainstay of fleet PvP. With a tank second only to the Maller, but still capable of putting out over DPS with good skills, a Vexor is a welcome addition to any armor brawler fleet.

Combined with the relatively low mass of the Vexor hull this makes a ship that can deal incredible damage very effectively. Jump to: navigationsearch. LOW Priority Target. Required Skills. Training Time what's this?
